About

Finkelberg has spent much of her life making things with computers. From the day her dad brought home the first Mac in the early 80’s to this very second, she is never too far from media making software. She has worked professionally for nearly 20 years in digital creative industries. From her student days as a CD-ROM author and HTML web designer in the late ’90s to her recent work as an After Effects animator, she is always focused on taking complex ideas and making them simple, beautiful and fun.

Over the last decade she has worked in most aspects of the Visual Effects industry, from production and data to 2D animation (painting, rotoscoping and compositing) and motion graphics design and animation. She opened Rig-Out, the rig removal house in 2004 with high profile clients like Sony Imageworks and ILM.

Finkelberg is currently enjoying teaching digital arts at the college level and working on great freelance animation, roto and compositing projects from her home office.
